Hello!!! Our names are Alejandra and Mario. We are in 6º and 5º Course of Primary Education. We are here to tell you how we have celebrated the carnival here in Sebúlcor.
Firstly we got dressed up as “Alice in Wonderland”.
Secondly we sang “the Queen of Hearts”. Then we did a parade on the coart after school. At the end of the parade we went to the “salón” to eat hot chocolate. And finally we were out of the “salon” to play with our friends.
We had fun!!!
“Carnaval en Sebúlcor”
¡¡¡Hola!!! Nuestros nombres son Alejandra y Mario. Estamos en 6º y 5º de primaria. Para deciros como ha sido el carnaval aquí en Sebúlcor.
Primero nos disfrazamos de “Alicia en el país de las Maravillas”.
Segundo cantamos la canción de la “Reina de Corazones”. Después desfilamos en la pista del colegio. Al final del desfile nos fuimos a la plaza a comer chocolate caliente. Por último salimos a jugar con nuestros amigos.

INVESTIGATE MUSCLES: how muscles move bones.
The strips of cards are the bones of my arm.
Fasten the strips with a clip.
The elastic is like the muscle.
The muscles contract and relax to move bones.

CHICKEN BONE EXPERIMENT
We put the bones in vinegar. The bones are hard and rigid
After 15 days the bones are soft. The vinegar absorves the calcium. Sorry, we don't have a photo of the it !

MODEL OF A RESPIRATORY SYSTEM
Here are the instructions: They are very easy ! Let's try it.!
YOU NEED:
· A plastic bottle with the bottom cut off.
· A plastic bag.
· Two balloons.
· Two straws.
· Sellotape.
· Scissors.
· Plasticine.
PROCEDURE:
A) Tape balloons to the ends of two straws.
B) Place the straws in the bottle. Secure them with plasticine at the top of the bottle.
C) Cut the plastic bag and stick it over the bottom of the bottle.
D) Blow into the straws.
What does the plastic bag represent? ( The diaphragm)
What do the two balloons represent? (The lungs)
What do the two straws represent? (The bronchi)
When we breathe in the diaphragm contracts and when we breathe out the diaphragm relaxes.

GEORGE AND HIS TRAVELLING BOOK
This year we have a puppet in our class. He is George. He travels to our houses all the weekends. We go shopping, we play football, we go to the swimming-pool, we go to the cinema... George is fantastic!

COOKING IN CLASS
We read "The little red hen" in class and then we cooked muffins and pizza at school.
MUFFINS: We used:
- Flour
- Butter
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Baking powder
- Lemon
PIZZA: We used:
- Flour
- Oil
-Salt
- Tomato sauce
- Cheese
- Oregano
- Our favourite ingredients (ham, tuna, olives, etc)

WE LOVE BOOKS!
This year, students in year 2 and year 4 have been reading different english books at home and they have also listened to the story thanks to the CD included.
My favourite book is "Pip the pirate". My favourite character is Pip.
It's about a pirate and I read it at home.
